The International Movement of Youth with Disabilities (IMYD)
We are young people with disabilities from all over the world.
We created IMYD because:
- We want to shape our future.
- We want our voices to be heard.
What we do
Lead
We are building a movement to make a lasting impact.
Collaborate
We bring together young people and organizations from around the world.
Advocate
We speak up for inclusivity, equality, and opportunities for all.
Who we are
IMYD was created on June 1, 2024, in Paris, France.
We work together to create a world that is fair and inclusive for young people with disabilities.
Our purpose
We created IMYD to:
- Empower each other, by sharing ideas and learning together.
- Represent ourselves, by speaking up in important meetings around the world.
We want to make sure our voices help shape the future.
